Internet Marketing - Are You Asking The Wrong Questions About Your Business?

It's not unusual to ask questions when we are new. But the question is: are we asking the right questions?

Here's a question I received a few weeks ago:

Why is my website not making money?

Well, it could be to do with no one actually visiting the website. Such a question can only be answered with another question: "Do you put in enough effort to get traffic?" or "Do you actually have a business plan?"

Another question I got:

Is this a big cheating game going on?

Many marketers use hype to sell products. My suggestion: Overlook the hype, and look for the substance. Look for reviews of the products you are interested in, but skeptical about. See what other people are saying after they bought the product.

One of the reasons why only 5% succeed in Internet business (unlike in school, where it's not unusual to find 95% of people graduating) is because they ask the wrong questions. They are too skeptical for their own good.

Instead of asking:

Is there really money to be made using this method?

Ask:

Has this method worked for anyone else and do they appear to be making money?

If you see someone's site appearing on a traffic exchange repeatedly after 3 months, you know the effort (or money) this guy is putting into the traffic exchange is probably bringing him profits. Study his niche, his web page, and even his email follow-up system. Emulate the successful.

When you ask the right questions, the answers are clearer.
